There may be times when you have a task that is left open because the Tasker did not go through the prompts and request payment. It is best to close out tasks and use Hyer Assist as quickly as possible if a Tasker does not work the task so the task does not expire and will show accurately for fill. We also want to make sure we can reach out to assist the Tasker in closing out the task if they made it but didn't finish the prompts.
Why does this happen?
This may happen for a variety of reasons, including the Tasker not being able to make it and not knowing how to cancel the task, or they decided they did not want to work it, etc.
What is the difference between Scheduled and In Progress?
Task Status of Scheduled - Scheduled means that the Tasker never clicked the "On My Way" prompts and did not show up for the task.
If the Tasker No-Showed the task, Hyer Assist should be used and marked as a No-Show to close the task out. (This will issue the Tasker a breach for not showing up to their assigned task.)
Task Status of In Progress - In Progress means the Tasker arrived at the task location and hit the "I've Started Working" prompt. If the Tasker did NOT work on this task, Hyer Assist should be used and marked as a No-Show to close the task out. But if the Tasker DID work on this task, please let Customer Support know right away so we can reach out to the Tasker to help them close out this task.
