Overview
There may be times when a task is left open because the Tasker did not complete the prompts and request payment.
It is best to close out tasks and use Hyer Assist as quickly as possible when the Tasker does not work the task. This helps prevent the task from expiring and ensures accurate task reporting.
It is also important to involve Hyer Support (support@gohyer.com) so we can ensure that the Tasker receives assistance with completing the prompts, allowing them to request payment.
Why does this happen?
This may happen for a variety of reasons, including the Tasker being unable to attend and not knowing how to cancel the task, or they may have decided they do not want to work on the task, etc.
Understanding 'Scheduled' and 'In Progress?'
| STATUS | MEANING | WHAT TO DO |
| Scheduled | The Tasker never clicked the "On My Way" prompt and did not show up for the task. | If the Tasker No-Showed, Hyer Assist should be used to mark them as a No-Show to close the task out. (This will issue the Tasker a breach for not showing up to their assigned task.) |
| In Progress | The Tasker arrived at the task location and hit the "I've Started Working" prompt, but did not finish the other prompts to receive payment. | If the Tasker did not work on this task, Hyer Assist should be used and marked as a No-Show to close the task. |
| Notes | If the Tasker did work in either of these scenarios, do not mark them as a no-show. Instead, immediately reach out to Hyer Support (support@gohyer.com) so we can work with the Tasker to finish going through the prompts and request payment. | |
