Life can be unexpected at times, and there may be a time when a Tasker is injured or has a medical episode while on-site for a task. We want our partners to feel confident in knowing what resources are available when working with Taskers.
Injuries or Medical Episodes
For any medical episodes or injuries that may happen with a Tasker, please follow your normal HR guidelines and store protocols for injury reporting. If needed, contact the appropriate authorities or paramedics.
Be sure to document the incident for your internal reporting, and please immediately reach out to Hyer’s Customer Support by emailing us the details of what occurred at support@gohyer.com.
See this help center article for more information:

What Happens if there is an Incident?
Hyer’s Support team will reach out to the Tasker to send them information on making an Occupational Accidental Insurance claim (OAI). This is why it is important for any incident reports to be sent to Hyer as soon as possible.
It is important to note that Hyer only provides OAI coverage for a Tasker who is scheduled for their own individual task; each Tasker must be assigned to their own task and be at the posted task location to have OAI coverage.
