There may be times when a Tasker does not show up😮️ for their scheduled task. This may happen for multiple reasons, but here are a few things you can do.
- You can use the Tasker chat to ask them if they are still coming 💬️
- If the Tasker shared their phone, you could call them to see if they can still make it
- If you get ahold of the Tasker and they are saying they will be late, it is entirely up to your determination if you will still allow them to work the task. You can still provide a breach if you wish by using Hyer Assist.
- 📌️It is important to note that if you already have marked them as a no-show and the Tasker shows up, and you decide that you do want them to work the task, you MUST create a NEW task for them. If you do not create a new task, the Tasker will not be able to hit the correct prompts within the app and request/receive payment. Keep in mind that the previous may have restricted their account, which means you would have to reach out to Customer Support to see if the Tasker account can be corrected. A Tasker that is "Restricted" cannot complete a task and will have limited access to the app.
- Allowing a Tasker to work when they are not assigned/scheduled to a task opens the Tasker and your company up for liability should there be an accident while on-site. A Tasker must never work a task that they are not Scheduled/Assigned to.
- If you get ahold of the Tasker and they are saying they will be late, it is entirely up to your determination if you will still allow them to work the task. You can still provide a breach if you wish by using Hyer Assist.
- If you mark a Tasker as a no-show by accident, contact your field operations liaison or Customer Support to have the breach removed.
- Use Hyer Assist to mark the reason why the Tasker didn’t show up and fill out the “Explain Below” section.
- If you want to leave a note on the Tasker profile (only visible to other managers within your company), that way, other managers will be able to make an informed decision on if they want to select them in the future.
What happens to the Tasker when they no-show?
The Tasker's deactivation risk increases, which may restrict/suspend their account and eventually lead to their account being disabled on the Hyer platform.
