When browsing available tasks in the Hyer app, you may notice some tasks have an “Add On” label. This feature helps you maximize your earnings by taking on tasks that are conveniently close in time and location to a task you’re already scheduled for. You may also receive a Private Offer for and Add On task.
How an "Add On" task works
A task will show the “Add On” indicator if it meets both of the following conditions:
Location: The task is within 3 miles of a task you are already scheduled for.
Time: The task starts or ends within 1 hour of your scheduled task.
Example
If you are scheduled for a Stocking task task today from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM:
A task that starts at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM (within 1 hour after your task ends) will show as an Add On.
A task that runs from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (ending within 1 hour before your task starts) will also show as an Add On.
Important Notes
The “Add On” indicator is simply a tool to help you identify nearby opportunities—it’s still your choice whether to accept (a private offer) or apply to them.
If you apply to an Add On task, just like normal, do not attempt to work the task unless the Customer accepts your application and you are showing as "Scheduled" in the task status. To learn more, click here.
If you accept and are scheduled for the task, you are scheduled to work it. Breaching this task by late canceling or not showing will negatively impact your account and may cause it to be restricted. To learn more, click here.
Only external tasks will show the “Add On” label. Internal tasks do not display this feature.
