What Is a Flexible Start Task?
A Flexible Start Task gives you a range of approved dates and/or times when you can choose to start the Task.
For example, a Customer may allow the Task to be started:
- On any day within a specific date range
- Between certain hours
- Within a combination of approved dates and times
How Do Flexible Start Tasks Work?
When you apply for or receive an offer for a Flexible Start Task, you will be asked to select your expected start date and time.
The date and time you choose must be within the range provided by the Customer.
š Flexible does NOT mean you have the entire date or time range to complete the Task. The range only gives you options for when you can start the Task.
Example: If a Flexible Start Task can be started anytime Monday through Friday and you select Wednesday at 10:00 AM, you are expected to start the Task on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. You do not have until Friday to complete the Task.
š Once you select your expected start date and time, you cannot change it.
If you are scheduled for the Task, the Task start time will update to the date and time you selected.
Make Sure You Can Work the Time You Choose
Before selecting your expected start date and time, make sure you are available and can arrive at the Task location at that time.
Once you are picked and scheduled by the Customer, you are expected to work the Task at the start time you selected.
Customers are expecting you based on the specific start date and time you selected. The Flexible Start range is not a window for completing the Task.
Failing to show up at your selected start time will result in a No-Show Breach on your account.
