When applying to a task and you are scheduled to work, you are agreeing to complete the task in its entirety, whether hourly or fixed fee; you are expected to stay until your scheduled task is finished.
If you must leave early due to an emergency or other unexpected situation, follow the steps below.
Before You Leave
- Tell the on-site manager that you need to leave.
- Message the Customer through the Hyer app document when you are leaving and why.
- Explain what work you completed and what still needs to be finished.
- Follow any required sign-out or checkout steps.
Keep in mind that leaving without checking out may prevent the Customer from confirming what work was completed, and they will confirm payment based on the information they have available to them. Leaving early or without checking out usually results in a reduction of payment. Always check out and confirm with the Customer what work was completed before leaving.
Requesting Payment
Before requesting payment:
- Tap I’m Done in the Hyer app.
- Complete all required questions and surveys, and provide accurate information.
- For an hourly task, request payment only for the time you worked.
- For a flat-fee task, report the amount of work you completed.
- Do not request payment for time or work you did not complete.
Leaving early may result in reduced payment, a payment dispute, or a breach on your account.
If you have questions, email Hyer Support at support@gohyer.com. Include your name, the Task ID, and an explanation of what happened.
