If you apply for a task and are not selected, don’t worry—this is completely normal and happens for various reasons. Keep in mind that there can be multiple applicants for each task, and the customer can select from that applicant pool.
What You Can Do
- Keep Applying: New tasks are posted often. Check the app regularly and apply to multiple different Customers and Task types to give yourself the best shot of being selected.
- Turn On Notifications: Enable push notifications in your app settings so you’re alerted as soon as new tasks become available.

Update Your Profile: A complete and professional profile improves your chances of being selected.
- Headshots - Some customers will not select you if you do not have a headshot. a
- Bio/About Me message - A great way to explain a bit more about yourself.
- Skills and Experience - Filling out your skills and experience helps round out your profile and shows why a Customer should select you!
- Experience: Provide a good experience for the Customer. Avoid canceling late or not showing.
- Private Offers: Make sure you accept any Private Offers. There are times when Customers will send out offers to taskers in their area. They are private offers that can be accepted or declined. If you are not interested in these tasks, you can simply decline them, and they will be removed from your tasks. If you accept a private offer, that means you are scheduled to work.
- Adjust your Filters: Make sure you remove any filters that may be preventing you from seeing all of the available tasks in your area. Also, check to make sure you have your radius set to 50 miles to increase your search. These filters will appear at the top of the screen when selecting the “Explore” button located at the bottom of the app.
Things to avoid?
- Never call the Customer in an attempt to see why you were not selected.
- Never go to a task's location in an attempt to work on a task you were not selected for or to meet with management about not being selected.
- Avoid texting the Customer in an attempt to discuss being selected for a task.
