You may see a failure message either when trying to take an Instant Payout or when Stripe attempts to deposit funds via the Weekly Payout. This can happen for a variety of reasons, so keep reading to learn what to do.
Common reasons a payout may fail include:
- There was an error with your banking institution
- Your bank declined the transaction
- The debit card expired
- The debit card was reported stolen
- Your region on your phone has changed (scroll towards the end of this article for further instructions)
What Should I Do If My Instant Payout Fails?
Contact your bank or financial institution first. Ask why the transaction was declined or could not be completed. Hyer cannot resolve an error or decline coming from your financial institution.
Confirm with your financial issue that the issue has been resolved.
Wait 30–60 minutes before trying the Instant Payout again.
⚠️ Do not repeatedly attempt the payout. If your bank confirms there are no blocks or issues with your account and the Instant Payout continues to fail, contact Hyer Support, and if the issue has not been resolved, please reach out to Hyer Support by emailing us at Support@gohyer.com.
Is the payout amount showing a comma instead of a period? Here is how to change the region on your phone.
If the payout amount displays a comma (,) instead of a period ( . ), your phone's Region setting may be causing the Instant Payout to fail.
Reset your phone's Region setting using the steps below. Even if the correct region seems correct, please try again to reset this.
iPhone Steps
- Open Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Language & Region.
- Tap Region.
- Reselect your correct region, even if it is already selected.
- Try the Instant Payout again after the settings have been reset.
Android Steps
- Open the Play Store app
- Select the options button
- Select Account
- Click the "Country and profiles" or "Language and Region" option.
- Try the Instant Payout again after the settings have been reset.
Please be advised that Hyer staff does not have access to change your payout method. Please ensure you have verified your account with Stripe so you can update your payout method.
