Your Stripe Express account has the option of having a Weekly payout. This is a scheduled deposit of the earnings in your Stripe account balance that are sent to your bank account through Stripe.
It is important to make sure your Stripe account is set up correctly to process a weekly payout. Please see this article to learn more: Scheduled Vs. Manual Payments.
Here’s everything you need to know:
🔁 Weekly Payout Schedule
-
Earning Window: Monday - Sunday. This means any payment confirmed by the Customer after Sunday will not be in that week's deposit.
-
Stripe Bundles the Payments for Deposit: Every Monday (the time varies), Stripe gathers the funds that are in your Stripe balance to be deposited into your banking institution. These funds are no longer available for an Instant Payout and will show as "In Transit" because they are being transferred to the account you have on file with Stripe.
- Bundling Cutoff: Any payments deposited into your Stripe account on Monday will not be included in that week's deposit and will be pushed to the following Wednesday’s transfer.
-
Available Funds: You should see the funds reflected in your banking account by the end of the day on Wednesday or Thursday. Each bank is different and may hold your funds pending due to their processing.
💼 How the Payout Works
- You complete your task, hit "I'm done," and request payment.
-
The Customer Confirms payment. Funds are immediately sent to your Stripe account.
- The Customer is allowed up to 24 hours to confirm payment, or 72 hours if the task is edited.
- Stripe processes your funds with the Weekly payout.
⚡ Want Your Money Sooner?
