If your Stripe account is set to Scheduled Payouts, Stripe automatically transfers your available balance to your bank each week.
Weekly Payout Timeline: Stripe prepares the payout on Monday, and funds typically reach your bank by Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your bank's processing time.
Which payments are included?
Your Weekly Payout includes eligible funds available in your Stripe balance when Stripe prepares the payout.
Stripe typically begins preparing the Weekly Payout on Monday. The funds included in that payout will appear as In Transit and will no longer be available for an Instant Payout.
Weekly Payout Schedule

How the Payout Works
Complete your Task: Tap I'm Done and request payment.
Customer confirms payment: The Customer generally has up to 24 hours to confirm payment. Certain tasks may allow up to 72 hours.
Money goes to Stripe: Once the Customer confirms payment, the funds are immediately credited to your Stripe account.
Stripe sends the Weekly Payout: If your account is set to Scheduled Payouts, Stripe automatically includes eligible funds in your Weekly Payout.
Your bank receives the deposit: Funds typically appear by Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your bank.
Why wasn't a payment included in my Weekly Payout?
Common reasons include:
- The Customer had not confirmed your payment before Stripe prepared the Weekly Payout.
- The payment reached Stripe after that week's payout had already been prepared.
- Your Stripe payout setting is Manual instead of Scheduled.
- Stripe may have placed a temporary hold on your payout.
- Your bank is still processing the transfer.

Want Your Money Sooner?
Eligible funds not already included in a Weekly Payout may be available for an Instant Payout.
Once Stripe shows a payout as In Transit, those funds are already being transferred and cannot be withdrawn through Instant Payout.
