Verifying your identity and keeping your date of birth (DOB), Social Security number (SSN), and address up to date in Stripe are important parts of completing your Stripe setup.
Make sure Stripe has your:
- Date of birth (DOB)
- Social Security number (SSN)
- Current address
- Identity verification
📌 Why is this important? Completing your information and identity verification can help prevent problems with payouts, tax forms, updating your payout method, or regaining access to your Stripe account.
If this information is incomplete, Stripe may delay or hold payouts, restrict access to funds, or require additional verification before you can regain access or update your information. You may also be unable to receive an eligible 1099. If additional verification through Stripe Support is required, Hyer Support will help guide you through the process.
