How to edit your bank account or debit card information in Stripe.
Follow the steps below: (Stripe may have to send you a verification code to complete the following steps)
- Tap the Settings icon (☰) in the Hyer app
- Select 'Account Information'
- Select 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header (this will open the Stripe dashboard)
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue.'
- If you do not get the verification code, follow the steps in this 👉 article
- Pay attention to the prompts or assistance hyperlinks below the verification blocks if you are having issues
- Tap the settings (☰) icon in the upper left-hand corner of the Stripe dashboard
- Tap on 'Profile Settings' and then scroll down until you see the 'Payout details' header
- Tap the … icon next to the payment method and follow the prompts to update your payout information. Note that it may ask you to verify your identity before making any changes. It also prevents you from removing your default payout method until you create a new one.
If Stripe is asking for your old account information but you don't have it, click the link to verify your identity and follow the prompts.
What if I can't log into Stripe, or my email and phone number have changed?
If you have these issues, please email Hyer Support (support@gohyer.com) to obtain your Stripe ID and instructions for contacting the Stripe Support team directly.
Note that Hyer cannot verify your identity for this process or bypass Stripe's security measures to update your information, which is why, at times, we have to provide you with specific instructions on how to connect with Stripe.
Notes:
- If you are prompted to enter a verification code but are not receiving it, follow the instructions in this FAQ to ensure that your current phone number is on your Stripe account.
- ⚠ IMPORTANT Do NOT delete your account if you experience an issue updating your information! You must immediately reach out to Tasker Support! You cannot create or use a new account.
