When a Customer approves your payment, the money is deposited into your Stripe account—not directly into your bank account.
Being paid by the Customer and receiving money in your bank account are two different steps. Once the Customer approves payment, the money is sent to your Stripe account. From there, Stripe sends it to your bank based on your payout settings.
To see if you've been paid, check your Stripe Dashboard. If the funds appear there, you've been paid. The remaining step is transferring those funds to your bank account (either by Instant Payout or your scheduled weekly payout).
How to View Your Payouts
- Click 'Settings' in the upper left-hand corner of the app
- Click 'Account Information'
- Click 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header
- Enter the Stripe verification code
- Scroll down to view your balance and your payout history
Notes
- Remember, it may take up to 24 hours after clicking "I'm Done" for the Customer to confirm payment. Tasks that are edited (requesting payment for more than what the task was posted for) or tasks that had issues with photos for surveys may take up to 72 hours to process.
-
Payout Options:
- Weekly Payout - Stripe transfers the funds every Wednesday
- Instant Payout - You manually transfer funds to eligible debit cards
- Having issues with your payout? Make sure your settings are correct by viewing this article: Scheduled vs. Manual Payments
What if I don't see the money in Stripe?
- Check your task to ensure the task status is set to 'Complete'. This means the Customer sent the payment to your Stripe account.
- If your task still shows as 'Waiting for Payment' status, it means either it hasn't been 24 hours, or it may take 72 hours if you requested more than the task was posted for, or if you had issues with your geotagging on your photos for a required survey.
- Check to see if the funds are in progress or in transit to your bank account.
- Check whether the funds have already been deposited.
- If you still don't see your payment, email our support team at support@gohyer.com. Please include your task ID, date, and location for your task.
