Reasons Why you might not be paid
Timing
- It has not yet been 24 hours since you requested payment. The Customer has up to 24 hours to confirm payment, starting from the time you mark "I'm Done" and request payment. Tasks that are edited (requesting payment for more than what the task was posted for) or tasks that had issues with photos for surveys may take up to 72 hours to process.
Visibility
- You have been paid, but the money is in your Stripe account balance and hasn't been transferred to your banking institution yet.

Finishing the Prompts
- You haven't gone through the prompts correctly in the Hyer app and requested payment.

Checking In/Out
- It is vital that you follow the check-in and check-out procedure for each task. If you don't follow the Customer's protocols and they don't know what work you completed, it can be very difficult to confirm payment for the correct amount. Failure to follow their policies can also cause a delay in payment confirmation.
Working for the Wrong Party/Entity
- You also want to make sure you check in with the correct party for your scheduled tasks, as multiple customers who use the Hyer app may operate out of the same location. Make sure you are working for the right Customer!
Failed Instant Payout
- There can be multiple reasons why an Instant Payout fails. Email support (support@gohyer.com) to ask the reason, so you can gain the information needed to contact your banking institution for resolution.

Working a Task when you are NOT the 'Scheduled' Tasker
- You can only receive payment if you are the scheduled Tasker for a task.
- If the Customer did not specifically schedule you, they aren’t expecting you and aren't expecting to pay you! You will see a status of Scheduled within that task in your task view. If this says anything besides Scheduled, the Customer is not expecting you. Do not show up.

Incomplete Survey or Failed Scans
- If your task requires you to take pictures and complete a survey, be sure to complete this as directed in the task instructions.
- Any required surveys should be taken as soon as possible and while on-site to avoid any issues.
- All questions of a survey must be answered. Skipping any question will prevent you from being able to request payment.
- If your task requires video scans, but your scans do not comply with or are not at the standard the Customer needs, the Customer may not pay. Be sure to thoroughly review all task instructions and materials to ensure the task is completed to the Customer's specifications.
