Taskers are expected to follow the dress code outlined in the task details.
If a Tasker arrives and is not in compliance with the posted dress code, you can determine the appropriate next steps based on your location's requirements and the circumstances.
What Are My Options?
Depending on the situation, you may choose to:
- Allow the Tasker to Correct the Issue: Ask the Tasker to leave, change into the required attire, and return to complete the task.
- Allow the Tasker to Continue Working: If the dress-code issue does not affect safety or prevent the Tasker from performing the work, you may allow them to continue. Clearly communicate the expectations for future tasks.
- Cancel the Task Without Issuing a Breach: If you decide the Tasker cannot work but do not believe a breach is warranted, you can cancel the task without issuing one.
- Cancel the Task and Issue a Breach: If the Tasker fails to follow the dress-code requirements outlined in the task details, you may cancel the task and issue a breach through Hyer Assist when appropriate.
How Can I Prevent Dress-Code Issues?
To help avoid confusion, ensure your task instructions clearly outline any required attire or appearance standards, such as:
- Required shirt or uniform
- Pants or clothing restrictions
- Closed-toe or slip-resistant shoes
- Required safety equipment
Clearly communicating these expectations when posting a task helps Taskers arrive prepared.
