Only the Tasker officially Scheduled through Hyer is authorized to work on the assigned task.
If someone arrives and their name or identity does not match the Scheduled Tasker's Hyer profile, or you have concerns about their identity, do not allow them to begin working.
Taskers are not permitted to allow another individual to use their account or complete tasks on their behalf.
What Should I Do if There's an Identity Discrepancy?
If you are unsure whether the person who arrived is the Scheduled Tasker:
- Do Not Allow Them to Work: Do not permit the individual to begin or continue working on the task.
- Verify: You are allowed to ask for identification to confirm who is showing up to work the task.
- Document the Discrepancy: Record the Task ID, the name of the Tasker who was Scheduled, and the name of the individual who arrived, if available.
- Send the Individual Home: Advise them that they cannot work because their identity does not match the Scheduled Tasker's Hyer profile.
- Notify Hyer Immediately: Contact us at support@gohyer.com with all of the details so we can investigate further.
Why Is This Important?
Allowing someone to work under another Tasker's account creates concerns regarding:
- Safety and Insurance: Individuals who are not officially Scheduled through Hyer are not covered under Hyer's Occupational Accident Insurance (OAI).
- Payment and Tax Reporting: Work must be completed under the correct Tasker's account to ensure payments and tax reporting are accurate.
- Account Security: Taskers cannot share accounts or allow another person to work using their identity.
Important: Even if an individual claims to be the Scheduled Tasker or has permission from the account holder, they cannot work if their identity does not match the Scheduled Tasker's information.
