Hyer expects all Taskers and Customers to maintain professional, respectful communication.
If a Tasker repeatedly contacts you, sends inappropriate messages, or engages in harassing or threatening behavior, please immediately notify Hyer Customer Support (support@gohyer.com), so our team can investigate and take appropriate action.
What Should I Do If a Tasker Won't Stop Contacting Me?
If a Tasker continues contacting you or behaves unprofessionally:
- Avoid Further Engagement: Do not argue with or respond to harassing, threatening, or inappropriate messages.
- Document the Communication: Keep relevant text messages, call logs, screenshots, or other information related to the incident.
- Contact Hyer Support: Email support@gohyer.com to report the behavior.
- Block the Tasker if Needed: If the Tasker is contacting your personal or business phone number, you may block the number to prevent further communication.
- Notify Your Leadership: Follow your company's protocol for addressing on-site unprofessionalism.
What Information Should I Provide to Hyer?
When reporting unwanted or inappropriate communication, please include:
- Tasker's name.
- Task ID, if available.
- An explanation of what occurred.
- Dates and times.
- Screenshots or other relevant information, if applicable.
Our Support team will review the information and determine the next steps.
Can Taskers See My Phone Number?
No. As of April 30, 2025, Customer and Tasker phone numbers are no longer displayed to each other on the Hyer platform.
This change was implemented to help protect user privacy.
If a Tasker already has your phone number from a previous interaction or another source, they may still be able to contact you directly.
How Should I Communicate With Taskers?
Whenever possible, use Hyer's in-app chat feature for task-related communication.
Messages sent through the Hyer app are associated with the task and can be reviewed by Hyer when investigating reported concerns.
If a Tasker becomes harassing, threatening, or otherwise unprofessional through the in-app chat, stop engaging and contact Hyer Support.
If necessary, Hyer may disable the chat for the affected task.
