Each task that is posted will have the duration as well as the income that can be earned for working that task. It is very important to work only the scheduled number of hours.
If the Customer gives approval to work additional hours, it is okay to work only for the additional amount that is authorized. Authorization must be given by a manager or leader appointed by the customer, who is authorized to confirm payment and approve any increases in cost or money paid out for that task.
🚫 Things to Avoid:
- Never work more than the posted hours unless approved by an authorized manager.
- Working through breaks/not taking a break in an effort to increase the amount paid
✅ Things to Do:
- Carefully review the posted hours and rate for the task before applying.
- Always check in and out with management or as directed in your task.
- Have good communication with management throughout the task.
- Take applicable breaks and note if they are paid or unpaid breaks.
Breaks
Customers are not mandated to provided paid or unpaid breaks for their tasks. Your task should detail this but if unsure, be sure to ask the Customer upon arrival what to expect regarding breaks for your task.
Note that any attempt to work over the posted hours or gain overtime without proper authorization may result in your Hyer account becoming disabled with Hyer and termination of employment by Ascen as a W2 Tasker.
