Bank holidays do not delay when a customer approves payment; however, it may delay when your bank receives your payout after it is transferred from Stripe (for 1099 tasks) or when Ascen's payroll/deposit runs (for W2 tasks).
Note that, in general, if a bank holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday, funds are not normally processed until the following business day.

What happens when a bank holiday falls on a Monday?
For Stripe/1099: The payout will cover Monday through Friday (at 4 PM ET) of the previous week. The next payout will then cover Saturday through Monday, the holiday.
For Ascen/W2: Ascen's payroll will not run on the Monday that the holiday falls on. This means that for any task where payment is confirmed on Friday (after 1 PM), Saturday, or Sunday directly before the holiday, those funds won't be processed through Ascen's payroll until Tuesday of that week.
