Taskers working 1099 Tasks through Hyer are required to renew their background check every two years.
When Will I Need to Renew?
The Hyer app will begin reminding you to renew your background check 30 days before your current background check expires.
You can complete your renewal through the Hyer app by following the background check renewal prompts.
Your background check must remain current to continue accessing and working 1099 Tasks through Hyer.
Do I Have to Pay Again When I Renew?
Yes. As a 1099 independent contractor, you are responsible for the cost of your background check each time a background check or renewal is required.
Background check fees are non-refundable once the background check is in progress or completed, regardless of the results.
