What are Flexible Start Times?
Customers can choose between Fixed Start Times/Dates and Flexible Start Times/Dates when posting a task.
Flexible Start Times allow the Customer to provide an acceptable range of dates and/or times when a task may be started.
📢 Important:
For Flexible Start tasks, the date and time you select becomes the required start time for the task.
“Flexible” means you may choose from the available date/time options.
It does not mean you have the entire range of time to complete the task.
The task must be started and completed at the selected start time.
How do Flexible Start Times affect me?
When you apply for or receive an offer for a Flexible Start task:
You will be prompted to select a start date and time within the Customer’s allowed range.
Once submitted, this start time cannot be edited.
If you are selected for the task, the task’s official start time will update to the time you chose.
You are expected to work on the task at that scheduled time.
What Happens If I Don’t Show Up at the Scheduled Start Time?
If the task is not started and completed at the selected time:
The Customer may mark the task as a no-show.
The task will be reopened so another Tasker can complete it.
A no-show is recorded as a breach on your account.
Customers have no way of knowing your intentions and whether a task will be completed on time, which is why tasks must be completed exactly at the scheduled start time.
âś… Best Practice
Before selecting a start time, make sure you are fully available to complete the task as scheduled. Choose carefully—once submitted, your selected start time is final.
