1099 Taskers: Follow the steps below to update the bank account or debit card connected to Stripe.
Your payout method is the bank account or debit card where Stripe sends your 1099 earnings.
You can have more than one payout method saved in Stripe. Before making changes, check which payment method is currently set as your default.
How to edit your bank account or debit card information in Stripe.
Follow the steps below. Stripe may send you a verification code to confirm your identity before allowing changes to your payout information.
- Open the Hyer app and tap the Settings icon
- Tap 'Payment Hub'
- Tap 'Payout History (Stripe Account)'
- Log in to your Stripe dashboard
- Tap the 'Profile Settings' icon
- Scroll down until you see the 'Payment details' header
- Tap the three dots (•••) next to the payout method that you want to update and follow the prompts to update it.
Trying to replace your default payout method?
Stripe may not allow you to remove your current default bank account or debit card until another payout method has been added. Add the new payout method first, then follow Stripe's prompts to make the change.
What if Stripe asks for old bank account information I don't have?
If Stripe asks you to verify an old bank account that you no longer have access to, look for the option to verify your identity instead and follow the prompts.
Stripe may require identity verification before allowing changes to payout information.
