How to edit your bank account or debit card information in Stripe.
Follow the steps below: (Stripe may have to send you a verification code to complete the following steps)
- Click the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of the Hyer app)
- Select 'Account Information'
- Select 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header (this will open the Stripe dashboard)
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue.'

- Pay attention to the prompts or assistance hyperlinks below the verification blocks if you are having issues
- Click Settings (3-line icon) / Settings in the upper left-hand corner of the Stripe dashboard
- Click on 'Settings' and then the 'Business details' tab. Now scroll down until you see the 'Payout details' header
- Click 'Edit' and follow the prompts to update your payment
Stripe is asking for your old account information, but you don't have it.
- If you DO NOT have your old account information (debit card number or bank account), click the hyperlink that will let you verify your identity, and after that, it will allow you to update your payout method.
Verify your identity in Stripe and add your date of birth and social security number to your Stripe account.
This is very important. You must do this to receive your 1099 (if eligible) at the end of the year. Having your verification done and information updated also allows you to log back in if you are locked out of Stripe or if your email and phone number change.
Here are the instructions for how to update this information and verify your identity.
- Open the Hyer App and go to Settings (top left-hand corner)
- Click on 'Account Information'
- Select 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the 'Payment' header
- Log In to Stripe
- Select Settings in the top left-hand side of the Stripe dashboard
- Scroll down and select 'Settings'
- Scroll down to the 'Personal Details' section and update your date of birth, address, and social security number, as well as verify your identity.
You can also complete these steps directly by logging in via the Stripe Express Dashboard: click 👉 here, select the profile icon at the top right, scroll down to Personal Details, and follow the prompts.
What if I can't log into Stripe, or my email and phone number have changed?
If you have these issues, please email Hyer Support to obtain your Stripe ID and instructions on how to contact the Stripe Support team directly. Hyer is not able to verify your identity for this process or bypass Stripe's security measures to update your information, which is why, at times, we have to provide you with specific instructions on how to connect with Stripe.

Notes:
- If you are prompted to enter a verification code but are not receiving it, follow the instructions in this FAQ to ensure that your current phone number is on your Stripe account.
- ⚠ IMPORTANT Do NOT delete your account if you experience an issue updating your information! You must immediately reach out to Tasker Support! You cannot create or use a new account.
