I didn't get paid the right amount = Dispute the task
I don't see the money in my account = Do NOT dispute the task.
What is a dispute?
A dispute asks Hyer to review the payment and the work completed for a specific task with the Customer.
How Do I Dispute the Amount I Was Paid for a Task?
If you received payment for a completed task but believe the amount you were paid is incorrect, you can submit a payment dispute through the Hyer app.
Before You Submit a Dispute
First, review the task details and how the task was paid.
Tasks may be paid hourly or as a flat/fixed fee based on the amount of work completed.
For flat-fee tasks, the amount paid is based on the quantity of work completed—not how long you were at the location. The Customer is not required to pay for work that was not completed or did not meet the task requirements.
Learn more about this by viewing the help center article: Flat Fee/Fixed Fee vs. Hourly: How Is My Pay Calculated?
If you believe the amount paid still does not match the work you completed, you can submit a dispute.
How Do I Submit a Payment Dispute?
To submit a dispute:
- Open the Hyer app.
- Tap Tasks in the bottom navigation.
- Select the Archived tab.
- Find and the completed task you want to dispute.
- Tap Dispute This.
- Provide a clear explanation of why you believe the payment is incorrect and include any supporting information.
What Information Should I Include?
Provide as much relevant information as possible, such as:
- The work you completed
- The amount or quantity of work completed
- Your arrival and departure times, if relevant, and whether you checked in and out with on-site management
- The names of the managers you checked in and out with
- The name of anyone who authorized additional or different work
- Photos showing the completed work
- Relevant messages or task communication
- Any other information that may help verify what occurred
The more complete and accurate the information you provide, the better Hyer can investigate your dispute. Not providing detailed information will delay the review process.
What Happens After I Submit a Dispute?
Hyer will review the information submitted with your dispute. The investigation may include contacting the Customer or on-site management to verify the work completed, task requirements, quantities, times, or other relevant details.
Once the investigation is complete, Hyer will communicate the final decision to you.
Submitting a dispute does not guarantee that additional payment will be issued.
📌 Payment for tasks is provided by the Customer, not Hyer. Hyer can review and investigate a payment dispute, but cannot require a Customer to pay for work that was not completed or did not meet the Customer's task requirements.
How Long Do I Have to Submit a Dispute?
You have 14 days from the task's scheduled end time to submit a payment dispute.
How Long Does a Payment Dispute Take?
Most payment disputes are reviewed within 1–5 business days.
Some disputes may take longer depending on the circumstances, the information that needs to be verified, and how quickly the Customer or on-site management responds.
Hyer cannot guarantee a specific resolution time for every dispute.
I Was Paid the Correct Amount, but the Money Isn't in My Bank Account
That's not a payment dispute.
If your task shows the correct payment amount but you have not received the funds in your bank account or debit card, submitting a task dispute will not resolve the payout issue.
