No. You cannot bring another person with you to a task or have someone help you complete your assigned work.
When you accept a task, you are the person assigned to complete that task. Anyone who is not assigned to the task should not accompany you into the task location or assist with the work.
This includes:
- Friends
- Spouses or significant others
- Family members
- Children
- Someone who drove you to the task
- Another Hyer Tasker
- Anyone else who is not you
What If Another Hyer Tasker Is at the Same Location?
There may be times when multiple Taskers are scheduled at the same location.
That's okay if each Tasker is assigned to their own task and completes their own assigned work.
You cannot:
- Bring another Tasker with you who is not assigned to work at that location in an attempt to get them scheduled or to assist you.
- Split your assigned task with another Tasker.
- Have another Tasker complete part of your work.
- Complete another Tasker's assigned work for them.
- Share your Hyer account or allow someone else to complete work under your account.
Each Tasker must work under their own Hyer account and complete the task they were individually assigned.
Why Is This Important?
Only the Tasker assigned to the task is authorized to complete the work.
Bringing another person or allowing someone else to help can create safety concerns if there is an accident, as there is no Occupational Accident Insurance coverage. There is also no way to pay someone who was not assigned to the task through Hyer.
The Customer may ask you to leave if you arrive with another person or attempt to have someone else assist you.
Your Account May Be Affected
Bringing someone with you, allowing another person to complete any portion of your work, sharing your account, or teaming up with another Tasker on individually assigned work may result in account action, up to and including permanent deactivation from the Hyer platform.
If you accept a task, plan to complete the entire task yourself, and cancel the task if you are not able to work.
