Since Taskers are independent contractors, Hyer will issue a 1099 NEC based on the Tasker’s earnings on the app in a calendar year. Hyer is required to report these Tasker payments to the IRS and also send a copy to the contractor.
1099 NEC Issuance Criteria
- Hyer will issue a 1099 NEC to Taskers who earn $600+ through the app in a calendar year.
1099 NEC Issuance
1099 issuance is done through Stripe, our 3rd party payment processor.
The deadline for Hyer to send your 1099 form is January 31st.
Hyer IRS Filing
To the extent required by the IRS, Hyer will report payments to Taskers for Tasks performed on the app by filing Form 1099-NEC with IRS.
Tasker Income Tax Filing
Taskers are solely responsible for filing all tax returns and submitting all payments as required by any federal, state, local, or foreign tax authority arising from the payments to Taskers on the Hyer app.

Does Hyer Take Taxes Out?

Update your email address in Stripe's dashboard to ensure you receive the email Stripe will send out to allow you to consent to retrieve your 1099 electronically.
Electronic 1099 will ONLY apply if you have made over $600 working on the app for that calendar year.
