It is vital to keep your phone number and email address updated on both your Hyer app profile and in your Stripe account. This ensures you do not get locked out of either platform and that you can always access your funds in Stripe.
Do NOT delete your account if you experience an issue updating your information! (You cannot create or use a new account.) Immediately contact Support! Support can troubleshoot any issues and help ensure your information gets updated.
Updating Phone Number or Email in the Hyer App
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of the Hyer app)
- Select 'Account Information'.
- Click on the pencil icon next to the phone number or email that you need to update.
- Enter your NEW information.
- This will generate a code (via SMS/Text or email, depending on what you are updating).
- Enter the verification code sent to your new number or email, and click submit.
Updating Phone Number or Email with Stripe
- Click the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of the Hyer app).
- Click 'Account Information'; select 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header.
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue'.
- If you do not get the verification code, follow the steps in this 👉 article.
- Pay attention to the prompts or assistance hyperlinks below the verification blocks if you are having issues.
- Click the Settings icon/ Settings on the Stripe dashboard (upper left-hand corner)
- Select 'Settings', then click the 'Profile' tab.
- Click the word 'Edit' next to your mobile phone or email and follow the prompts to update your information.
Tips!
- Make sure you don't have any spaces before or after your email.
- Do NOT add a '1' in front of your phone number (must be a US phone number)
- If you do not get the verification code in your email, check your spam or promotion folder.
- NEVER DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT if you run into an issue. Immediately email Support at support@gohyer.com.
NOTE: Changing your phone number, email, or address on your Hyer account does NOT change it on your Stripe account! Be sure you always update both Hyer and Stripe with your current information to avoid any login issues.
