Some Hyer tasks give Customers the option to leave a tip for a Tasker after the task is completed.
Not all tasks offer tipping. The Customer determines whether the tipping option is available for a task.
How Do I Know If a Task Allows Tips?
When viewing a task, look below the task's posted pay amount.
If tipping is available, you will see a Tip icon. Tap the icon to learn more about how tipping works for that task.
Are Tips Guaranteed?
No. Tips are optional and are never guaranteed.
Whether a tip is given and the amount of the tip are determined by the Customer and may be based on your performance and their experience working with you.
Providing great service, showing up on time, adhering to the dress code, following the task instructions, communicating professionally, and completing the task to the Customer's specifications can help you make a great impression.
Where Will I See My Tip?
If you receive a tip, it will be included in your Stripe payment activity.
Depending on how the payment is processed, the tip may appear:
- Combined with the payment for your task, or
- As a separate, smaller payment in Stripe.
Because of this, don't be concerned if your tip does not appear as a separate transaction.
