You may be contacted by a Tasker stating they didn't receive payment. Then when you look in the system, it shows that they were paid out for that task. If you show the task as paid, the Tasker was paid; they just may not understand how to view their payouts in Stripe or know when the funds will transfer from Stripe to their banking institution.
Here is some information on how to handle this scenario.
How does the payout work on the Tasker side of things?
- When a Customer confirms payment for a task, the money will immediately transfer into their Stripe account.
- Subsequently, the Tasker can choose to have the funds transferred to their banking institution through two options:
- Weekly Payout: Taskers can wait for a weekly payout where the accumulated earnings are transferred to their bank account.
- Instant Payout: Taskers also have the option to request an instant payout, which allows them to receive the funds in their bank account immediately. (similar to a Cash App, Venmo, or Quick Pay withdrawal.)
Taskers manage these payout options through their Stripe dashboard
What should you do if a Tasker is asking you where their money is?
Instruct the Tasker to go into their Stripe dashboard to see their payment or reach out to Tasker Support for assistance. (they can email us at support@gohyer.com)
