Keeping your contact information current in the Hyer app and in the Stripe dashboard is essential to ensure you never miss important updates or opportunities and don't have any delay in accessing your funds in Stripe.
When your email and phone number are up to date, you’ll receive timely notifications about:
- New tasks in your area so you can apply quickly.
- Alerts for tasks you’re scheduled to work, including reminders and last-minute updates.
- Important messages from the Hyer or the Customer.
Updating Your Email and Phone Number in the Hyer App
To update your information in the Hyer app:
- Open the Hyer app and log in to your Tasker account.
- Go to Profile > Account Information.
- Update your email address and phone number.
- Save your changes.
Tip: Make sure you have access to your updated phone number and email so you can receive verification codes and important notifications.
Updating Your Stripe Dashboard Information
Your email and phone number must also be kept up to date in your Stripe Dashboard, which is used for processing your payments.
- This ensures you update your payout information and update your payout method if needed.
Lost Access to Your Email or Phone Number Associated with Stripe?
- If you no longer have access to your registered email or phone number with Stripe, Hyer Support cannot update this information for you directly. Instead, we must refer you to Stripe’s Support team to verify your identity before any changes can be made to your Stripe account.
