- Referral Codes are used when an existing Tasker refers a new Tasker to Hyer. If the referral requirements are met, both Taskers may receive a referral bonus.
- Promo Codes and Promotions are special offers from Hyer that may allow eligible Taskers to earn an additional bonus by meeting the requirements of a specific promotion.

How Do Tasker Referral Codes Work?
You can earn a bonus for referring friends and family to Hyer!
To find and share your referral code:
- Open the Hyer app.
- On the main 'Home' tab under 'Hyer Life Hub,' tap the 'Referrals' money icon.
- Select the 'Invite Friends' tab.
- Share your referral code with friends or family who are interested in becoming a Tasker.
When an eligible new Tasker enters your referral code and completes 3 qualifying tasks, you can both earn a $25 referral bonus.
Who Can Use My Referral Code?
Referral codes are only valid for new Taskers.
For referral purposes, someone is considered a new Tasker if they have never completed a task through Hyer.
The referral code must be entered before the referred Tasker completes their first task. A referral code cannot be added after the first task has already been completed.
Where Does the New Tasker Enter My Referral Code?
A new Tasker may be prompted to enter a referral code at different points within the Hyer app, including:
- When creating their Hyer account
- While applying for or accepting a task
- When requesting payment for their first task
The referral code must be entered before their first task is completed to qualify.
How Can I Track My Referrals?
You can view your referrals and their progress directly in the Hyer app.
Tap the main 'Home' tab under 'Hyer Life Hub,' tap the 'Referrals' money icon.
If someone successfully entered your referral code, they should appear under the 'My Referrals' section.
If no one is listed, no one has successfully entered your referral code yet.
How Many People Can I Refer?
There is no limit to the number of eligible new Taskers you can refer.
You can earn a referral bonus for each eligible referral who meets the referral program requirements.
When Are Referral Bonuses Paid?
Eligible referral bonuses are processed by the end of the day on the 15th and the last day of each month.
Once processed, the bonus will be added to your Stripe balance.
Can a W2 Tasker Receive a Referral Bonus?
Yes. However, referral bonuses are only paid to a Stripe account, so if you have not set up a Stripe account, there is no way to receive a referral bonus. Referral bonuses are not sent via direct deposit through Ascen; you must set up a Stripe account through your Hyer profile.
Promo Codes and Promotions
How Do Hyer Promotions Work?
Hyer may occasionally offer promotions on 1099 tasks that give eligible Taskers an opportunity to earn additional bonuses.
Promotions are not always available, and each promotion may have different:
- Eligibility requirements
- Bonus amounts
- Qualifying tasks or activity
- Start and end dates
- Locations or markets
Always review the details of the specific promotion you receive to understand what is required.
How Will I Know If a Promotion Is Available?
When a promotion is available to you, Hyer may communicate the offer through:

- A banner within the Hyer app
- A promo code provided as part of a specific offer
Not all promotions are available to all Taskers, and W2 tasks will never include a promotion offer.

How Do I Know If I Qualified for a Promotion?

Only activities that meet the requirements of the specific promotion will count toward earning the promotional bonus.
