Life happens, and there will be times when something comes up, and you may not be able to make it to your scheduled tasks. If you find yourself in this spot, this is what you should do. Cancel the task by selecting the pencil icon within the task and marking "Cancel this task"
Message The Customer. This lets the Customer know why you are canceling and will help maintain a good relationship with them.
Step 1: In the app select the Tasks icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Select the scheduled task that you are unable to make it to.
Step 3: Click on the 'Contact Customer' chat icon in the upper right hand corner of the task
Step 4: Write a brief note and click Send
Step 5: Now, you have to cancel the task. In the upper right-hand corner, select the pencil icon and click “Cancel this task.” Then select proceed. Here is an article with a walkthrough if needed.
It is not the Customer's responsibility to cancel a task for you. Keep in mind that even if you reach out to the Customer, you may still receive a breach to your account.
