Summary of Changes in Release May 2025 (Target 5/15/2025)
(1) Problem solving/Feedback from Giant: Team Members currently do not have real email ids (in
Hyer) and are not mandated to provide a phone number in the app; this causes issues if
passwords need to be reset since there is not a way to do that without having to reach out to
Hyer support.
Change: Team members will be prompted to enter/verify their number during sign up AND/OR
if applying to a shift.
(2) Problem solving/Feedback from Giant: Supervisors / Store Managers need to know when
their Homestore team is working in another location
Change: There will be a new In-App Alert and a new Push Notification for Supervisors. The
Alert/Notification will be sent to all Homestore Supervisors when a Team Member gets
scheduled for a shift at a location other than the Team Member’s Homestore.
Verbiage will be: Jen Solmi (Home Location 6227) is scheduled for a Deli Counter shift at
Location Chalfont PA on 5/10/2025 at 8 am. Jen Solmi is a Minor.
Note: The ‘Jen Solmi is a Minor’ text is conditional and shown only if the worker is a minor.
(3) Problem solving/Feedback from Giant: Supervisors don’t have a way to easily see if their
Homestore team has signed into the app and would like to have that understanding.
Change:
APP: The My Team tab in the app (on the Profile tab) will show a ‘Never Signed In’ label for their
Homestore Team Members Workers who have not logged into the app.
PORTAL: Supervisors will see the ‘Never Signed In’ label on a Team Member’s profile when on
the Planner in the “By Worker” view
When Homestore Team is selected (top right), then ‘Show All Workers’ field will become
available. When this is checked, all workers with the selected store as their Home store will be
displayed (even those without any assigned tasks).
