This article walks you through how to post both public and private tasks from your phone using the Hyer app.
Step 1: Start a Task Post

Open the Hyer app.

Tap the Post Task button at the bottom of the screen.

Select a task type (e.g., Front End Cashier, Bagger, Checkout).

Tap Let’s Get Started.
Step 2: Enter Task Details
You'll be guided through a few setup screens:
Location

Select the store or location where the task will take place.

Tap Next.
Timing
-
Choose your desired Start Date and Time.

You may set these as Fixed or Flexible.

Tap Next.
Duration
-
Enter the estimated task duration (e.g., 6 hours).

Tap Next.
Step 3: Add Requirements & Description
Requirements

Select any work experience or roles required (e.g., Front End Cashier).

Tap Next.
Description
Fill in the task description and other important details:

Short Description
-
Health or safety guidelines
-
Arrival instructions
-
Dress code
-
Do’s and Don’ts
Tap Next when done.
Step 4: Choose How to Post the Task
You have two ways to post your task:
Option 1: Post Task Publicly

Tap Post Task Publicly.
-
Your task is visible to all eligible workers in the area.

Workers apply, and you choose who gets the job.
To Confirm a Worker:

Go to the Tasks tab.

Tap the task with new applicants.

Tap a worker’s name to review their profile.
-
Tap Confirm This Worker to schedule them.
Option 2: Post a Private Task (Send Offer Directly)

Tap Choose Workers.
-
Select one or more team members from the eligible list.

Use filters like distance, badges, or availability to narrow results.

Tap Send Offer to X Workers.
- The first worker to accept will be schedule
Step 5: (Optional) Post Multiple Tasks
After posting, you’ll be asked if you want to post additional identical tasks:

Select Same Day or Multiple Days.

Set the number of task copies to post.

Use the Preview this task option before posting to confirm accuracy.

Enable Show Phone Number if you’d like to allow direct calls between you and the scheduled worker (mutual consent required).
