Canceling a task is available on the Hyer mobile app only at this time. To cancel a task, click on the "Tasks" tab, navigate to the task you want to cancel, and click on the ellipses in the upper right-hand corner of the task.
Keep in mind that if the task status is "Open" (no worker is assigned), it will look different than if you are canceling a task in "Scheduled" (a worked is assigned) status.
When you cancel a worker from a task with the status of "Scheduled," you will have these options:
- Hyer Assist - Used to cancel the task and give the worker a breach (they no-showed, were late, etc.)
- Edit Task - This can be used to update the Task Requirements, the task Duration, and Customer Instructions.
- Cancel this Worker - This will allow you to cancel the worker from the task and issue them a breach. (Note that the only option that will not breach the worker's account is choosing Unschedule Tasker; No Policy Breach.)
- Cancel this Worker & Delete Task - This allows you to delete the task (will have no impact on the worker's account besides not being able to work the shift.)
If you cancel a task with the status of "Open," it will simply delete the task.
