When reviewing your list of applicants, if you see a grey box labeled "Paperwork Pending" under an applicant's name, it means that Tasker still has items to complete their onboarding (with Ascen, their EOR) or is waiting on their background check to finish.
If you choose this Tasker to work, and they do not have all of their W2 onboarding completed within 24 hours of the task's start time, they will be removed from the task, so you can choose another Tasker. Keep in mind that seeing this label does not necessarily mean they are a new Tasker; it could mean they have completed 1099 tasks and are now onboarding to be eligible for W2 work on the Hyer platform.
