No — Hyer cannot provide a traditional Verification of Employment (VOE), income verification, or pay stubs for 1099 Taskers.
This is because Taskers are independent contractors, not employees of Hyer
What Does This Mean?
As a 1099 independent contractor:
You are not an employee of Hyer.
Hyer cannot issue VOE letters, employment confirmation, income verification, or pay stubs.
We also cannot guarantee or verify the number of hours or days you work.
If a third party (for example, a lender or landlord) requests proof of work or earnings, you may be able to use:
Your IRS Form 1099
Your bank statements that show payouts from work on the platform
A screenshot of your Stripe account inside the Hyer app (although this may not directly link your name to the earnings)
What If I’m a W-2 Tasker?
If you are classified as a W-2 employee through Ascen, Hyer is not your employer. In this case, you should contact your employer (Ascen) directly for any employment verification, VOE letters, or pay stubs. You can email Ascen at support@ascen.com.
