Taskers are Independent Contractors and not direct employees of Hyer, so all of our background and MVR checks are done through Checkr, a third-party company we have partnered with to ensure each background check is as safe and secure as possible.
Hyer is charged by the county, state, and Checkr for the background check reports. The cost of the background and MVR checks passed along to you varies based on your location. You will see the cost of the checks when initiating them in the app and be requested to approve those costs before moving forward. Costs passed to you typically range anywhere from $5 - $20.
Note: The cost of your background check is your responsibility, no matter how the results come out. Hyer does not provide refunds for background checks that are in progress or completed or for new accounts created after being restricted/disabled from the app for any reason.
