You will be notified via email when your background or MVR check has been completed. If you fail the Background / MVR check
- You will receive a Pre-Adverse Action notification via email. This notification will outline your options, such as an appeal if you feel the failure was received in error. You will have seven days to respond. If you respond, then your case will be reviewed, and a determination will be made for potential engagement based on the facts you provide.
- If you do not respond to the notification, you will receive another notification (Post-Adverse notification) informing you of the final decision.
- You can dispute the findings of your background check by reviewing the information in this article: How do I dispute the findings of my background check?
If you passed the background check but did not pass the MVR, you will still be allowed to perform non-driving tasks.
You can go to the Checkr Candidate Portal to find a copy of your background or MVR check. You will need to input the same information used originally to initiate the check.
