Life happens, and there will be times when something comes up, and you may not be able to make it to your scheduled tasks. If you find yourself in this spot, you should do this.
How to Cancel
- Navigate to the 'Tasks' tab.
- Tap on the task you need to cancel.
- Click the pencil icon, and then select "cancel this task."
What Happens After You Cancel?

The task will be moved to the archived tab.

The Customer will be notified.

You may not be selected for tasks from that Customer again if your cancellation was last minute, without a valid reason, or if you have a history of canceling with them.
⚠️ Important Note: Cancelling a scheduled task within 6 hours of the start time will breach your account. An exception to this would be if the Customer selects/schedules you for a task with less than 6 hours until the start time. Any task that is canceled late (within 6 hours of the scheduled start time) will result in the Tasker receiving a zero-star rating for that task.
