How Do I Obtain a Skill? (HyerFLEX - Workers)

Skill Request

Skills can be requested by you and require approval from your supervisor. There are 2 ways to request a skill: 

• From the Profile tab (bottom right corner of the app), scroll down until you see the 'Skills sections. Click the Add button next to the 'Skills' section 
  • Any skill belonging to your business will be listed here; click on the Skill that you wish to request
• When applying to or accepting a task that requires a skill, you will be prompted to request the skill when you click the Apply or Accept button 

Skill Approval 

Your skill approval request will be reviewed by your supervisor. If they approve the request, you will see the skill listed under the 'Skills' section of your profile. 

You will receive an in-app and push notification when your supervisor has completed your request. 

1. Requesting a 'Skill' when Applying for a Task

When you apply for a task, if your employer requires you to have a specific "Skill," that will be listed under the "Task Requirements." Note that you will not be able to apply for a task with a required skill until you have it in your profile. If you see the circle with the "i" in yellow, you do not yet have that skill. If you click on it, you will see the plus sign, which you can click on to request that it be added to your profile. Let's continue

2. Request under review

Now, you will see that your request was sent and is under review. Until you see the circle turn green with a check mark, you will not be able to hit the proceed button. Now, let's learn about the second way to request a skill.

3. Request a 'Skill' through your profile

In the bottom navigation bar, click the "Profile" icon and scroll down until you see the 'Skills' heading. Click on the "Add" button and follow the prompts. You will be notified when you get the skill, and it will show here on your profile.
