Posting your phone number 📱️ in a task is completely at your discretion. The consent will pop up once you reach the 'Post This Task' screen, where you select if you want your task public or private. If you have the phone consent turned on in your profile, this will be defaulted to on. Be aware that posting your phone number does allow Taskers to text or call you, and your phone number may be saved on their phone.
A lot of times, Taskers may text you if they have already reached out via chat and have not heard a response. If the Tasker is contacting you for other reasons or is not professional in their correspondence, please reach out to Customer Support immediately 📩️ so we can investigate the matter and take appropriate action. In addition to Customer support, you may also reach out to your field operations liaison to inform them of the situation as well. In this situation, you may also want to block that phone number on your mobile device.
