When selecting a Tasker for a posted task, you will see how many applicants have applied by viewing the purple applicant's box under ‘Your Posts.’ Once you click on it, you can see new and established Taskers and their ratings.
Things to review when selecting a Tasker
- Identify the Tasker’s rating (1-5 stars)
- This will appear under their name
- Location (found in the bottom right-hand corner of their profile snapshot)
- The distance the Tasker listed in their profile as their address from the posted tasks location
- The best practice for a task that is under 4 hours is to pick a Tasker who is located closer to the task site and select Taskers who live further away for a task that has a longer duration. For example, generally, a Tasker will drive further if the duration is longer but may not be willing to drive over 20 miles for a short task
- The distance the Tasker listed in their profile as their address from the posted tasks location
- Number of tasks that they have completed
- Review the type of badges the Tasker has and what skills or experience they have. Tap on the profile to review this in more depth.
Do I have to pick the Tasker if they apply again if I don’t want to?
If you have a Tasker who has a history of no-shows or late cancellations, try out a new Tasker. If they aren’t suited for your task types, you don't have to select them again or may want to try selecting them for a different task type. We suggest if you don’t feel a Tasker is right for you that, you create an internal profile note for that Tasker so the other managers in your company are aware when they go through the selection process. Remember, Taskers may not be used to this type of task or work, so the more they gain experience, the better they become. Never be afraid to give Taskers feedback on the task so they can improve and work efficiently. It’s also good to put an internal profile note if the Tasker may not excel in one task type but are great at others.
