Life happens, and there may be times when something comes up, and you can't make it 😮 to your scheduled tasks. If you find yourself in this spot, this is what you should do. Cancel the task by selecting the pencil icon within the task and marking "Cancel this task," then message the Customer. This lets the Customer know why you are canceling and will help maintain a good relationship with them.
Step 1: In the app, select the Tasks icon at the bottom of the screen
Step 2: Select the scheduled task that you are unable to make it to
Step 3: Click on the 'Contact Customer' chat icon 💬 in the upper right-hand corner of the task
Step 4: Write a brief note and click Send
Step 5: Now, make sure you cancel the task. In the upper right-hand corner, select the pencil icon and click “Cancel this task.” Then select Proceed. Here is an article with a walkthrough if needed
📌Note that it is not the Customer's responsibility to cancel a task for you. You must cancel the task on your end as you are the party that is unable to fulfill the commitment to complete the task.
