You can edit your information by going into the Settings menu (the three horizontal lines icon in the top left corner of the app).
- Selecting "Account Information" allows you to edit your name, phone number, email, and location.
- Selecting "Payout History (Stripe Account)" on the "Account Information" screen allows you to edit your Stripe information.
Do NOT delete your account if you experience an issue updating your information! ๐ข You must immediately reach out to Tasker Support! You cannot create or use a new account. Support will be able to troubleshoot any issues and help ensure your information gets updated. Follow ALL instructions provided in the article. Most times, there is an error it is because someone missed a step.
Updating ๐ Phone Number with Hyer App
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of app)
- Select 'Account Information'
- Click on the pencil โ๏ธicon next to your current phone number
- Enter your NEW phone number (it will show you your current phone number)
- This will generate a code (via SMS/Text) to your new phone number that you will need to enter
- Enter the verification code sent to your new number and submit
- Viola! Your number is now updated!
Updating ๐ Phone Number with Stripe
- Click the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of app)
- Click 'Account Information'; select 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue'
- If you do not get the verification code, follow the steps in this ๐ article
- Pay attention to the prompts or assistance hyperlinks below the verification blocks if you are having issues
- Click the Settings icon/ Settings on the Stripe dashboard
- Click your current phone number under the 'Your Account' header
- This will generate a verification code to be sent to the email address you have on file with Stripe
- Note that if you do not get the code or do not have that email, you can click the hyperlink that states 'Verify my identity instead'
- Enter your verification code and submit
- Piece of ๐ฐ!
Updating โ Email for Hyer App
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of app)
- Select 'Account Information'
- Click on the pencil โ๏ธ icon next to your current email address
- Enter in your new email and click 'Let's Go'. ๐
- The system will send a verification to your new email address; enter this code and hit 'Let's Go'
- ๐ Done!
Updating โ Email for Stripe

- Click 'Account Information'; select 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header

- Click your current email address under the 'Your Account' header
- This will generate a verification code to your current email. ๐ If you do not have access to your old email, you will have to click on the hyperlink that says 'Verify my identity instead.' This will prompt you to go through Stripes verification process
- Enter the code, and you're good to go! ๐ช
Tips!
- Make sure you don't have any spaces before or after your email.
- Do NOT add a 1 in front of your phone number.
- If you do not get the verification code in your email, check your spam folder.
- NEVER DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT if you run into an issue. Immediately reach out to Tasker Support at support@gohyer.com.
