There may be times when you have a task that is left open because the worker did not go through the prompts. It is best to close out tasks and use Hyer Assist as quickly as possible if a worker does not work the task so the task does not expire and will show accurately for fill. We also want to make sure we can reach out to assist the worker in closing out the task if they made it but didn't finish the prompts.
Why does this happen?
This may happen for a variety of reasons, including the worker not being able to make it and not knowing how to cancel the task, or they decided they did not want to work it, etc.
What is the difference between Scheduled and In Progress?
Task Status of Scheduled - Scheduled means that the worker never clicked the "On My Way" prompts and did not show up for the task.
If the worker No-Showed the task, Hyer Assist should be used.
Task Status of In Progress - In Progress means the worker arrived at the task location and hit the "I've Started Working" prompt. If the worker did NOT work on this task, Hyer Assist should be used. But if the worker DID work on this task, please let Customer Support know right away so we can reach out to the worker to help them close out this task.
