When a supervisor offers a worker a task (private offer) or your application is accepted to work a task, you will receive a push notification (if notifications are on); you will also receive an in-app notification and see a red dot beside the Tasks tab at the bottom of your screen.
If you accept a private task or your application was accepted, you will then see the status for the task change from 'Applied' to 'Scheduled' within that task in your task view. If this says anything besides Scheduled, the supervisor is not expecting you. Do not show up if you are not scheduled.
1. Watch for the status to change from "Applied" to "Scheduled"
When you have finished applying, you can click on the "Tasks" icon located in the bottom navigation area. Here, you will want to make sure you have the "Your Tasks" tab selected at the top of the screen. Under this tab, you will see the status of the tasks you have applied for. Note that if it says "Applied," you have not been selected yet. If you are selected to work on this task, the status will change from "Applied" to "Scheduled." Now, all you have to do is wait for your notification that you were selected.
2. Turn "On" Notifications
You want to make sure you have the notifications for the Hyer app turned "On" in your phone's settings. This will help ensure you are notified quickly of all new postings and can see if your application was selected.
3. View Your Notifications
When you click on the alert, it will take you to your notifications, and you can click on it to see more about the task details.
You will receive several notifications within the app itself. It will notify you when you are:
- Selected
- Two hours before the shift start time
- If you haven't marked 'On The Way' 30 minutes before the shifts start time
