β IMPORTANT β Do NOT delete your account if you experience an issue updating your information! π’ You must immediately reach out to Tasker Support! You cannot create or use a new account. Support will be able to troubleshoot any issues and help ensure your information gets updated. Follow ALL instructions provided in the article. Most times, if there is an error, it is because a step was missed.
For security reasons, if you lose access to your old method of payment, phone, or email, Stripe requires you to verify your identity with them. Hyer does not have access to update these items in Stripe for you, but you can contact Stripe Support directly by clicking π here π. Stripe may ask for your Hyer-connected account ID; if they do, reach out to Hyer Support to obtain your Stripe ID.
Updating π Phone Number with Hyer App
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of app.)
- Select 'Account Information.'
- Click on the pencil βοΈicon next to your current phone number.
- Enter your NEW phone number and click Let's Go.
- This will generate a code (via SMS/Text) to your new phone number that you will need to enter.
- Enter the verification code sent to your new number and submit.
- Viola! Your number is now updated!
Updating π Phone Number with Stripe
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of the app.)
- Select 'Account Information'; click Payout History (Stripe Account) under the Payment header
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue.'
- If you do not get the verification code, follow the steps in this π article.
- Pay attention to the prompts or assistance hyperlinks below the verification blocks if you are having issues.
- Select the Profile icon in the top right-hand corner of your Stripe dashboard.
- Select the '>' icon next to your current phone number.
- This will generate a verification code to be sent to the email address you have on file with Stripe.
- Note that if you do not get the code or do not have that email you can click the hyperlink that states 'Verify my identity instead.'
- Enter your verification code and submit.

Updating β Email for Hyer App
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of app.)
- Select 'Account Information'
- Click on the pencil βοΈ icon next to your current email address.
- Enter your new email and click Let's Go π
- The system will send a verification to your new email address; enter this code and hit 'Let's Go'
- π Done!
Updating β Email for Stripe
- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of app.)
- Select 'Account Information.'
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue.'

- Select the '>' icon next to your current email.
- This will generate a verification code to your current email. π If you do not have access to your old email, you will have to click on the hyperlink that says 'Verify my identity instead.' This will prompt you to go through Stripes verification process.
- Enter the code, and you are good to go! πͺ

- Hit the Settings icon (upper left-hand corner of the app.)
- Select 'Account Information'; click 'Payout History (Stripe Account)' under the Payment header
- Enter the verification code texted to you and hit 'Continue.'

- Click on 'HyerApp' under the header labeled Payout Details.

Tips!
- Make sure you don't have any spaces before or after your email.
- Do not let any app or keyboard on your device auto-fill your information; manually type it all in.
- Do NOT add a 1 in front of your phone number.
- If you do not get the verification code in your email, checkr your spam folder.
- NEVER DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT if you run into an issue. Immediately reach out to Tasker Support at support@gohyer.com.
- If you update your email address or phone number in the Hyer app, be sure to update it in Stripe as well.
- If you have not fully verified your Stripe account, it is a great idea to do this in case you ever lose access to your phone number, card, or email, as Stripe support will need to verify you to update it.
